Inclusion Policy
Feeling Safe and Welcome
We believe every child belongs here, no matter their abilities. We make sure children feel safe and cared for by hiring extra help when needed. We welcome the people who work with your child—like developmental counsellors—to be part of our program.
Creating a Supportive Environment
We watch and learn from children’s play to make sure our activities help each child feel successful.
Toys and materials are easy to reach for everyone so children can explore freely.
Playing Together
We encourage all children and Educators to play together. We plan field trips and classroom activities so that everyone can join in. We choose play and learning approaches that support each child and their family.
Looking at Each Child’s Needs
We pay attention to how each child plays and learns. This helps us understand what they need and what they’re good at.
We plan small group activities so all children get the care and connection they need.
There’s also a quiet space if a child needs time to rest or feel calm.
Family Communication and Support
We talk with caregivers every day. You can ask for a meeting any time. We also meet regularly with families to check in and share ideas.
Working Together
We’re open to meeting with families, therapists, and support workers. We work together to understand what your child needs and what works best for them. Together, we build a plan that helps your child feel safe, supported, and successful in our program.
